Hours for pickup

The Trophy Helps distribution area will be open Monday- Friday from 1pm-5pm.

We will be assembling boxes of the assorted donated items to equally distribute these items.

The distribution area will be staffed by Trophy employees volunteering their time to help our community and get the food shared with our community.

FAQ

Who is eligible to receive donations?

All restaurant workers in the region. It doesn’t matter if you have been laid off or your hours reduced. Simply bring a recent pay stub, show it upon entry, and take what you need.

Is this limited to restaurant workers in Raleigh ?

No, all Restaurant & Hospitality workers are welcome.

What will be available?

Starting out, items will be limited. A wider variety of items will be available in the future and it will change based on donations. As the program develops, we will keep you posted.

How much can I take?

We ask that anyone picking up food addresses their immediate needs and avoids stockpiling. Remember that there are many people in need. We will be providing bags and some boxes for the items available that day. You can always come back another day. We reserve the right to ask folks to return items if they are taking very large amounts

How long will the program last?

Trophy Helps will continue to operate as long as there are items available and we can safely distribute them to our friends in need. We will follow all recommendations and guidelines provided by the State of North Carolina.

Concept & Mission

Trophy Helps is a partnership between Trophy Brewing Company, Pale Fire Brewing Co, Sysco Foods, Bridge the Gap Mission and Digital Minerva. Our goal is to help people in the restaurant industry with direct support by supplying food products, free of charge.

Our restaurant industry has been decimated by the quick widespread effects of the COVID-19 virus. Hundreds of restaurant workers in Raleigh and the surrounding area have been laid off, and this means, for many, a total loss of income with little to no warning.

Trophy Brewing Company’s large Main Campus on Maywood is the perfect location to act as a hub for food distribution to our affected community. We are putting our space to work as a pickup location for food items generously donated by our friends at Sysco Foods. Anyone in the restaurant industry is welcome to stop by our space and pick up shelf-stable food items for themselves and their families in this time of need.

Our partnership with Bridge the Gap Mission provides a structure through which donations can be made as well as logistical support and communication with the community. Digital Minerva has donated its services through the creation, hosting maintenance and ongoing updates of this website which provides up to date information to those in need.

Responsible sanitation and zero contact protocols in use at all of our locations will be in use. We are trying to limit the possibility of transmission and ensure the safety of our volunteers and our community as we get the food into the hands of the hungry.

We will be providing ample signage, significant spacing to minimize risks.
